Richard is accompanied by 5 other passengers on a journey to space. India-born Sirisha is the second woman who is going on a dangerous journey of space.
Sirisha Bandla hails from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Sirisha Bandla will be the second Indian-origin woman to travel to space. Earlier, Kalpana Chawla had gone to space and unfortunately, she died in the space shuttle Columbia accident. Sirisha Bandla joined Virgin in the year 2015 and after that she has not looked back.
