Patients are advised to rest after Kovid, but a case has also been reported in Japan in which the patient is unable to sit, rest, and is not able to walk properly.

In Japan, a case of 'Restless Anal Syndrome' has come to light after a 77-year-old was infected with Corona. He was admitted to Tokyo Medical University Hospital in Japan after the patient's report came positive.

Doctors say this is the first such case in the world of having 'Restless Anal Syndrome' after having Kovid. This syndrome has made it difficult for the patient to rest. The patient's condition worsens with movement and rest. The case study of this case has been published in BMC Infectious Disease Journal, read what is the matter.

Before understanding the whole matter, know, what is Restless Anal Syndrome after all?

Cases of restless leg syndrome are seen in patients. This problem is related to the nervous system. In such a situation, a different kind of sensation or movement is felt in the patient's leg. Due to this, he has the urge to move his feet again and again. As a result, he cannot rest. Therefore, the condition worsens when sitting or resting in one place. Especially in the evening, the problem increases for the patient.

Experts say the exact reason for this is not yet known. Cases are passed down from generation to generation in many families, but this was not the case with the Japanese elder. The patient is treated by increasing the time of exercise in medicines and routine. Along with this, lifestyle changes are asked based on the condition of the patient.

According to the Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation, 7 to 8 percent of the population in America is suffering from this disease. Why this is becoming common among people, the reason for this has not been revealed yet. There is very little mention of this disease in medical records and journals as well. The problem suffered by the Japanese patient is a variant of this restless leg syndrome. Apart from this, the matter is also related to the anus ie the anus along with the feet, which is making the condition worse. Due to the sensation in the anus of the patient, it becomes difficult for him to sit and walk.

Now understand what problems the elderly are facing?
According to doctors, the surprising thing is that even at this stage of age, the elderly patient did not need oxygen. After 21 days of treatment, the patient started breathing as usual. When the patient's condition was normal, he was discharged from the hospital. The symptoms of the syndrome appeared a few days later. Due to the sensation felt in the anus of the patient, he was having a strong desire not to sit anywhere. He went back to the hospital for treatment.

Dr. Itaru Nakamura, who treated the patient, says, an attempt was made to find out the reason for the colonoscopy of the patient. A lump was found in the anus in the examination but no other kind of damage has come to the fore. Usually, the patient tries to move the legs in such a syndrome, but the Japanese person is also having difficulty in walking. His symptoms are getting worse when he walks.

Not yet understood the connection of corona to the nervous system
Dr. Nakamura says, how the effect of the virus is reaching the nervous system in Kovid patients, it is not yet understood. The inability of Kovid patients to understand the fragrance and taste is also a symptom related to the nervous system.

The patient is being given a drug called clonazepam 1.5 mg. He says, after taking the medicine for about 10 months, his condition has improved. One out of every 4 people in Japan has restless leg syndrome. At the same time, one out of every 10 people in the UK is troubled by it.

Dr. Nakamura says, before this, restless leg syndrome has been confirmed in two patients of Kovid. Both cases were reported in women over the age of 50. One woman was from Pakistan and the other was from Egypt, but this anus syndrome is the first such case in the world.
