LPG Cylinder Price: Inflation hit on the first day of December, commercial cylinder became expensive

LPG cylinders price hike: On the first day of December, petroleum companies have given a shock to the common man. The price of
the commercial cylinder (LPG price) in the country has been increased by up to Rs 100. This can make restaurant food and drink expensive.

With this increase, now the 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 2101. In the month of November, the price was Rs 2000.50. However, there has been no increase in the price of 14.2 kg LPG for domestic use, so there is some relief. The cost of commercial cylinders increases the burden on the restaurant owners and they pass it on to the customers. That is, restaurant food and drink can be expensive.

blow to hope

It is worth noting that the prices of both domestic LPG and commercial cylinders are very high. Many politicians said that due to the price of excise duty, the prices of both petrol and diesel have come down. But now the Modi government should try that the price of LPG cylinders should also be reduced.

That's why people expected that the government would give some relief in view of the assembly elections in 5 states including UP, Punjab, but the companies increased the price on the contrary.

steady growth

The price of commercial cylinders is continuously increasing. Last month also it had increased by RS 266. With this increase, now the 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 2101. It is Rs 2177 in Kolkata, Rs 2051 in Mumbai, and Rs 2234 in Chennai.

Although oil companies have given some relief by not increasing the prices of domestic gas now,  they can also be increased later. Only last month it was reported that the loss (under-recovery) caused by selling domestic LPG cylinders at a price below the cost has now exceeded Rs 100 per cylinder.
