Do you also think, how good it would be if on returning home from office or gym, you get cooked food? But there is no one to cook with love for you at home. So now an Automatic Cooking Machine will prepare delicious food for you.

Nowadays, technology has made everything easy for us, whether it is booking a cab to go from one place to another or ordering food sitting at home. With the passage of time, such technology has also been developed, which can give you freedom even from going to the kitchen to cook. Sometimes you get so tired of doing office work that you find it difficult to come home and cook! In this case, this technique can work for you.

This Automatic Cooking Machine named NOSH has been designed by Yatin Varachhiya, co-founder of Euphotic Labs, a Bengaluru-based startup. Yatin, 34, says that his passion for eating good food away from home inspired him to make it.

Talking to The Public News 24, he said, “I belong to a small village Kantwa in Gujarat and had moved to Bangalore in 2008 to study. I graduated in science from Indian Institute of Science. After which he also worked with some multinational companies. But over the years, I longed to eat good food. At the same time, I was bored even after eating restaurant food outside.

Even after marriage, her food problem remained the same. Because with him, his wife also used to spend more time coming home from her work and office. Little was known about the time to cook. Most of Yatin's friends had the same problem. He explains, “I discussed it with about 100 people, 50% of whom lived in the US. I have seen that be it India or America, due to paucity of time, people are unable to enjoy cooking and eating traditional Indian food.

Many of his friends also complained about unhealthy eating habits and how they depended on ready-to-eat packaged food. Many friends said that they get upset by eating restaurant food again and again.

n 2016-17, Yatin talked about his idea with his friends Pranav Rawal, Amit Gupta and Sudeep. Together, the three thought of making a device that would cook food and that would solve the problems of people

After three years of effort, many experiments and six prototypes, he created this automatic cooking machine, the NOSH. This automatic cooking machine cooks more than 120 dishes according to your taste and requirement. That too in just three easy steps.

Talking about his machine, he says that this machine is the size of a microwave. In which you have to fill the ingredients and spices related to the food of your choice in the different containers made. He says, “There are separate slots for spices, oil and water. That's where the main ingredients, such as vegetables, cheese or meat, go into the tray. After which you just have to choose the dish of your choice. Later, this machine does its job and without you doing anything, the food is ready.”

He further explains, “Though no person is required in this process, but the time it takes to prepare the food is the same. This machine follows the given recipe properly. Plus, it makes sure everything mixes together properly to prepare the food.”

Yetin says that this automatic cooking machine has been designed and manufactured in India. He said, this automatic cooking machine is equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and runs through a mobile app. With which it can cook matar paneer, fish curry and many other one-pot meals. Apart from this, in this you can track your calories. At the same time, you can also add new recipes according to your taste.

Amit, co-founder of Euphotic Labs, says, “While thinking of building a self-cooking machine, it is as easy as it gets to make it.”

He added, “NOSH is a brand new product, so we didn't have a product to take inspiration from or learn from. We had to do many trials and experiments to make it. For each dish, there is a method that the device has to teach.”

Giving an example, Amit says, “Like to roast rava you have to stir it continuously. Therefore, the machine will also have to be set in the same way, otherwise the rava will burn. Even if you want to roast onions for any vegetable, it will have to be set accordingly. While preparing the sabzi, ingredients and spices should be added only after the onion turns golden brown in colour.”

Amit says that we humans make a dish while cooking, like moving our hands around. Similarly, the robot has four types of motion technology to do this work. He says, “We built this robot with simple things like frying potatoes. Later we added some tricky recipes to it as well.”

He said that getting funds for his idea was also a big challenge. He explains, “Luckily, we got some funds from the government to make this product, some outside investors also supported us, apart from this we also took some money from friends and family. Now our team is in the process of increasing our seed fund.
