DU Admission 2021: Admission has started from the third cut-off list of DU. But before this, the seats in the popular courses of DU are almost full. There is very little chance of admission to top courses like Economics (Hons), B.Com (Hons), English (Hons) in the popular courses of top colleges of Delhi University.

The reason for this is that two cut-offs of DU have come, due to which seats in these courses have been filled in the first and second cut-offs in many colleges. Students applying to take admission to Delhi University can check the cutoff list by visiting the official website du.ac.in.

The admission process on the basis of the third cutoff list in colleges affiliated with Delhi University has started on October 18, 2021. Candidates are starting to apply for admission in various UG courses based on merit today from 10 am. Under the third merit list (DU Merit List 2021), candidates can apply for admission till October 21.

At the same time, approval for admission will be given by the colleges till October 22, 5 pm. For admission under the third cutoff list, candidates will have to make payment by October 23 (5 pm).

Delhi University has so far released two cut-offs for admission to undergraduate courses. According to official data, over 48,000 students have secured their admission to the university under the two cut-off lists, while the university has received over 1.18 lakh applications so far.

A total of 1,18,878 applications were received by the university under two cut-offs, while 48,582 students have paid the fees. The university is taking admission on 70 thousand seats in various colleges of the university. Just as there has been a drop of only one percent for popular courses till the cut-off list. Unreserved seats have already been filled while OBCs are almost full. There will be
vacant seats in the reserved categories and there is a possibility of a decrease of up to one percent in the third list.
