पुष्पा इस तरह के बेंचमार्क पर पहुंचने वाली अल्लू अर्जुन के करियर की पहली फिल्म है। यह फिल्म रुपये के क्लब में प्रवेश करने वाली चौथी टॉलीवुड बन गई है। अभी तक सिर्फ 'बाहुबली: द कन्क्लूजन' (1351 करोड़ रुपये), 'बाहुबली: द बिगिनिंग' (482 करोड़ रुपये) और 'साहो' (339 करोड़ रुपये) ने ही कमाई की है।
उन्होंने एक्शन ड्रामा को प्रशंसकों के साथ-साथ आलोचकों से भी ध्यान और प्रशंसा प्राप्त की है। फिल्म ने 'स्पाइडर-मैन: नो वे होम' और रणवीर सिंह-स्टारर '83' के release होने पे भी बॉक्स ऑफिस पर अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है।
सुकुमार द्वारा लिखित और निर्देशित, 'पुष्पा' में फहद फासिल, रश्मिका मंदाना और अन्य भी हैं। फिल्म लाल चंदन की तस्करी की पृष्ठभूमि में दक्षिण भारत के शेषचलम जंगलों में एक लॉरी चालक पुष्पा राज की कहानी है
इसका दूसरा भाग 'पुष्पा 2: द रूल' शीर्षक से फरवरी 2022 में शुरू होने की उम्मीद है

The film hit the theaters on December 17 and has since dominated the box office. Making another milestone, the film has crossed the Rs 300 crore benchmark.
Pushpa is the first film in Allu Arjun's career to reach such a benchmark. The film has become the fourth Tollywood to enter the club of Rs. So far, only 'Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs 1351 crore), 'Baahubali: The Beginning' (Rs 482 crore) and 'Saaho' (Rs 339 crore) have earned.
The action drama has garnered attention and praise from fans as well as critics.The film has also done well at the box office after the release of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and Ranveer Singh-starrer '83'.
Written and directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa' also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna and others. The film is the story of Pushpa Raj, a lorry driver in the Seshachalam forests of South India, set in the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
Its second part titled 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is expected to start in February 2022.
