A bus going from Gwalior to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh collided with a container on the highway. In this accident, 7 people on the bus died and more than 15 were seriously injured. A woman is among the dead. The accident took place in the Gohad police station area of Bhind district.
According to the police, four deaths have been identified. These include Rajat Rathore (22) resident of Kilgate Gwalior, Gani tribal (20) resident of Saigarh village, District Sagar, Harendra resident of Etawah, and Hariom resident of Hardoi UP. At the same time, 3 dead have not been identified yet. The bodies have been sent to Gohad for post-mortem.
Gohad Chauraha station in charge of Om Prakash Mishra said that the accident happened around 7.30 am on Friday. After the collision of the bus and the container, the container overturned and the driver was injured, while the driver of the bus fled after the accident.
