भारत सरकार ने चिन्हित किया है कि एम2एम/इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) दुनिया भर में सबसे तेजी से उभरती प्रौद्योगिकियों में से एक है जो समाज, उद्योग और उपभोक्ताओं के लिए अत्यधिक लाभकारी अवसर प्रदान करती है।

इसका उपयोग बिजली, मोटर वाहन, सुरक्षा और निगरानी, ​​​​दूरस्थ स्वास्थ्य प्रबंधन, कृषि, स्मार्ट होम, उद्योग 4.0, स्मार्ट सिटी आदि जैसे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में इनसे जुड़े उपकरणों का उपयोग करके स्मार्ट बुनियादी ढांचा बनाने के लिए किया जा रहा है।

एम2एम इको-सिस्टम को मजबूत करने और क्षेत्र में व्यापक प्रसार और नवाचार की सुविधा के लिए डीओटी ने हाल ही में एम2एम सेवा प्रदाताओं और डब्ल्यूपीएएन/डब्ल्यूएलएएन कनेक्टिविटी प्रदाताओं के पंजीकरण के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं और 5000 रुपये की मामूली लागत पर एक साधारण ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से एम2एम सेवा प्रदाताओं की ऑन-बोर्डिंग की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है ताकि व्यापार करने में आसानी को हासिल किया जा सके।

इसे 15 दिनों की समय सीमा के भीतर दूरसंचार विभाग के मौजूदा सरल संचार पोर्टल के माध्यम से किया जा सकता है। ऐसा माना गया है कि जो संस्थाएं एसआईएम/एलएएन पर आधारित एम2एम सेवाएं प्रदान कर रही हैं, वे एम2एम सेवा प्रदाता के रूप में पंजीकृत होंगी और वे संस्थाएं जो एम2एम कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करने के लिए डब्ल्यूपीएएन/डब्ल्यूएलएएन प्रौद्योगिकियों का उपयोग करती हैं, उनके लिए स्पेक्ट्रम को डब्ल्यूपीएएन/डब्ल्यूएलएएन कनेक्टिविटी प्रदाता के रूप में पंजीकृत किया जाएगा। यह पंजीकरण एम2एम सेवा प्रदाताओं के लिए टीएसपी, केवाईसी, ट्रेसबिलिटी और एन्क्रिप्शन के साथ कनेक्टिविटी जैसी चिंताओं को दूर करने में मदद करेगा।

इस संबंध में, डीओटी यानी दूरसंचार विभाग को यह बताते हुए खुशी हो रही है कि एम2एम सेवा प्रदाता और डब्ल्यूएलएएन/डब्ल्यूपीएएन कनेक्टिविटी प्रदाता के रूप में सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए पहला पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र एपी-एलएसए विजयवाड़ा द्वारा 26.04.22 को मेसर्स क्लाउड7 टेक्नोलॉजीज प्राइवेट लिमिटेड को जारी किया गया है। यह कंपनी भारत में बिना लाइसेंस वाले बैंड में वायरलेस/आरएफ नेटवर्क की योजना, स्थापना और प्रबंधन में लगी हुई है।

प्रक्रियाओं को डिजिटल बनाने और स्वचालित करने के लिए सभी क्षेत्रों की तेजी से स्वीकार्यता और नई विनिर्माण तकनीकों और उद्योग 4.0 के आगमन के साथ दूरसंचार विभाग पूरे देश में आईओटी और एम2एम सेवाओं के उपयोग में एक बड़ी तेजी की उम्मीद करता है, जो दूर-दराज तक के इलाके में बड़े पैमाने पर रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करेगा।

It is being used to create smart infrastructure using these connected devices in various sectors like power, automotive, security and surveillance, remote health management, agriculture, smart home, industry 4.0, smart city etc. .

Machine to machine communication is going to play a major role and will contribute significantly to the Government of India's initiative of Digital India and Make in India.

In order to strengthen the M2M eco-system and facilitate wider dissemination and innovation in the sector, DoT has recently issued guidelines for registration of M2M service providers and WPAN/WLAN connectivity providers and a simple online application at a nominal cost of Rs.5000/- Started the process of on-boarding of M2M service providers through registration process to achieve ease of doing business.

This can be done through the existing Saral Sanchar portal of DoT within a time limit of 15 days. It is envisaged that the entities providing M2M services based on SIM/LAN shall be registered as M2M Service Providers and those entities which use WPAN/WLAN technologies for providing M2M connectivity shall be eligible for spectrum. will be registered as WPAN/WLAN connectivity provider. This registration will help address concerns such as connectivity with TSP, KYC, traceability and encryption for M2M service providers.
