भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग (सीसीआई) ने एएचवीएफ II होल्डिंग्स सिंगापुर II प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (अधिग्रहणकर्ता) द्वारा हीरो फिनकॉर्प लिमिटेड (लक्ष्य) के कुछ अनिवार्य परिवर्तनीय तरहीजी शेयरों के अधिग्रहण को प्रतिस्पर्धा अधिनियम, 2002 की धारा 31(1) के तहत मंजूरी दी है।
प्रस्तावित संयोजन अधिग्रहणकर्ता द्वारा लक्ष्य के कुछ अनिवार्य परिवर्तनीय तरजीही शेयरों के सबस्क्रिप्शन से संबंधित है जो परिवर्तित होने के बाद एचएफएल में एक निश्चित शेयरधारिता का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे।
अधिग्रहणकर्ता सिंगापुर में निगमित एक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड कंपनी है। इसका स्वामित्व अपोलो मैनेजमेंट, एल. पी. अपोलो मैनेजमेंट एल. पी. से संबद्ध एवं इसके संबद्धों द्वारा प्रबंधित निवेश फंडों के पास है जिसे कुल मिलाकर अपोलो कहा गया है।
अपोलो मैनेजमेंट एल. पी. अमेरिका के स्टेट ऑफ डेलावेयर के कानूनों के अनुसार गठित एक सीमित भागीदारी कंपनी है। अपोलो से संबद्ध कंपनियों द्वारा प्रबंधित निवेश फंड दुनिया भर में विभिन्न कारोबार करने वाली कंपनियों और उने द्वारा जारी ऋण पत्रों में निवेश करते हैं।
लक्ष्य भारत में निगमित एक कंपनी है और वह मुख्य तौर पर वित्तपोषण एवं इससे संबंधित वित्तीय सेवाओं का कारोबार करती है।
एचएफएल भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक में एक व्यवस्थित रूप से महत्वपूर्ण जमा न लेने वाली गैर-बैंकिंग वित्त कंपनी के रूप में पंजीकृत है।
एचएफएल की पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली एकमात्र सहायक कंपनी हीरो हाउसिंग फाइनेंस लिमिटेड समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के लिए कई प्रकार के आवास ऋण एवं संपत्ति पर ऋण उपलब्ध कराती है।

CCI has acquired AHVF II Holdings Singapore II Pvt. Ltd. Approved the acquisition of certain Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares of Hero Fincorp Ltd.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of certain compulsorily convertible private shares of Hero Fincorp Limited (Target) by AHVF II Holdings Singapore II Private Limited (Acquirer) under Section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002.
The proposed combination relates to the subscription of certain compulsory convertible preference shares of the target by the acquirer which shall, upon conversion, represent a fixed shareholding in HFL.
Acquirer is a private limited company incorporated in Singapore. It is owned by Apollo Management, L.L. P. Apollo Management L. P. Affiliates and its affiliates are managed by investment funds that are collectively referred to as Apollo.
Apollo Management L. P. is a limited partnership company formed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
Investment funds managed by companies affiliated with Apollo invest in companies doing various businesses around the world and in debentures issued by them.
Lakshya is a company incorporated in India and primarily engaged in the business of financing and related financial services.
HFL is registered with Reserve Bank of India as a Systemically Important Non-Deposit taking Non-Banking Finance Company.
Hero Housing Finance Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of HFL, offers a wide range of housing loans and loan against property to various sections of the society.
