The Nobel Prize in Physics 2021 awarded for groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of complex systems, with one half jointly to Japanese-born American Syukuro Manabe and German Klaus Hasselmann and the other half to Italian Giorgio Parisi

Syukuro Manabe – awarded the 2021 #NobelPrize in Physics – demonstrated how increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere lead to increased temperatures at the surface of the Earth. His work laid the foundation for the development of current climate models.

The names of the 2021 scientists who won the Nobel Prize in Physics have been announced. 3 scientists have received this award this year. Their names are Soukuro Manebe, Klaus Haselmann and Giorgio Perisic. In this, Tsukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann prepared a physical model of the Earth's climate. With this, rapid climate change can be monitored. At the same time, Giorgio Perisic showed the change in physical systems from molecules to planets.

The Royal Swedish Academy gives this award for promoting new inventions. The Nobel Prize in Physics in 2020 was awarded to American scientists Andrea Ghez, Germany's Renard Genzel and Britain's Roger Penrose. All of them did research on black holes.

A day before the Nobel of Medicine was announced
Earlier, David Julius and Ardum Patapocian of America were awarded the Nobel Prize in the field of medicine. He received this award for discovering the receptors that sense temperature and touch.

Ardum Patapocian is a professor at Scripps Research, Calif. He has previously done research at the University of California, San Francisco and the California Institute of Technology. David Julius was born in 1955 in New York City, USA, he earned his PhD in 1984 from the University of California, Berkeley.

Nobel is more than 100 years old
The award, being given since 1901, is given by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In this, the prize money of about 10 million Swedish crowns i.e. 8.5 crore rupees is given. The award was instituted by Alfred Nobel, the inventor and businessman of dynamite.

Alfred created this prestigious award for achievements in science, literature and peace. The amount of the prize comes from the left will of Alfred Nobel. The Nobel for Economics was awarded for the first time in 1969.

भौतिकी में नोबेल प्राइज जीतने वाले 2021 के वैज्ञानिकों के नाम की घोषणा हो गई है। यह पुरस्कार इस साल 3 वैज्ञानिकों को मिला है। इनका नाम स्यूकुरो मानेबे, क्लॉस हैसलमैन और जियोर्जियो पेरिसिक है। इसमें स्यूकुरो मानेबे और क्लॉस हैसलमैन ने पृथ्वी में जलवायु का फिजिकल मॉडल तैयार किया। इससे तेजी से हो रहे जलवायु परिवर्तन पर नजर रखी जा सकती है। वहीं, जियोर्जियो पेरिसिक ने अणुओं से ग्रहों तक फिजिकल सिस्टम में होने वाले बदलाव को दिखाया।

द रॉयल स्वीडिश एकेडमी यह पुरस्कार नए अविष्कारों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए देती है। 2020 में फिजिक्स का नोबेल पुरस्कार अमेरिका के वैज्ञानिक आंड्रेया घेज, जर्मनी के रिनार्ड गेनजेल और ब्रिटेन के रोजर पेनरोज को दिया गया था। इन सभी ने ब्लैक होल पर रिसर्च की थी।

एक दिन पहले चिकित्सा के नोबेल का ऐलान हुआ
इससे पहले अमेरिका के डेविड जूलियस और आर्डम पाटापोशियन को चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में नोबेल पुरस्कार दिया गया। उन्हें यह पुरस्कार तापमान और स्पर्श को महसूस करने वाले रिसेप्टर्स की खोज के लिए मिला।

आर्डम पाटापोशियन स्क्रिप्स रिसर्च, कैलिफोर्निया में प्रोफेसर हैं। इससे पहले वह कैलिफोर्निया यूनिवर्सिटी, सैन फ्रांसिस्को और कैलिफोर्निया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी में रिसर्च कर चुके हैं। डेविड जूलियस का जन्‍म साल 1955 में अमेरिका के न्‍यूयॉर्क शहर में हुआ, उन्‍होंने 1984 में कैलिफोर्निया यूनिवर्सिटी, बर्कले से पीएचडी की डिग्री हासिल की है।

100 साल से भी पुराना है नोबेल
1901 से दिए जा रहे इस पुरस्कार को रॉयल स्वीडिश एकेडमी ऑफ साइंसेज देती है। इसमें करीब 10 मिलियन स्वीडिश क्राउन यानी 8.5 करोड़ रुपए की पुरस्कार राशि दी जाती है। डायनामाइट के आविष्कारक और बिजनेसमैन अल्फ्रेड नोबेल ने इस पुरस्कार की शुरुआत थी।

अल्फ्रेड ने विज्ञान, साहित्य और शांति में उपलब्धियों के लिए इस प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार को बनाया। पुरस्कार की राशि अल्फ्रेड नोबेल की छोड़ी गई वसीयत से आती है। 1969 में पहली बार अर्थशास्त्र का नोबेल दिया गया था।
