बाड़मेर के प्रसिद्ध पशु मेले में कृषि मंत्री द्वारा 'मेरी पॉलिसी मेरे हाथ' अभियान में फसल बीमा पालिसी वितरण|

राजस्थान के बाड़मेर जिले में सुप्रसिद्ध तिलवाड़ा पशु मेले के दौरान आज भव्य किसान समागम में केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने भारत सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना (पीएमएफबीवाई) के 'मेरी पॉलिसी, मेरे हाथ' अभियान के तहत फसल बीमा पॉलिसी का वितरण किया।

 कार्यक्रम में हजारों किसानों के साथ केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री श्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत, पशुपालन, मत्स्य पालन व डेयरी राज्य मंत्री डॉ. संजीव कुमार बालियान, कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण राज्य मंत्री श्री कैलाश चौधरी सहित अन्य जनप्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए। यहां श्री तोमर ने कहा कि किसानों की तेजी से प्रगति के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में सरकार उन्हें टेक्नालाजी से जोड़ रही है।

पीएम की दूरदृष्टि के कारण बीमित किसानों को क्लेम के लिए फसलों के नुकसान का सर्वे भी ड्रोन द्वारा किया जाएगा।

देशव्यापी अभियान ‘मेरी पालिसी मेरे हाथ’ की शुरूआत गत 26 फरवरी को इंदौर (मध्य प्रदेश) से की गई थी। यह एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है कि यह अभियान अल्प समय में 50 लाख किसानों तक उनकी फसल बीमा पालिसी के साथ सफलतापूर्वक पहुंचा है, जिसे आने वाले दिनों में भी जारी रखा जाएगा।

कार्यक्रम में श्री तोमर ने कहा कि पीएमएफबीवाई में 1.15 लाख करोड़ रुपये का क्लेम किसानों को दिया जा चुका है। महाभियान में पालिसी किसानों तक पहुंचाई जा रही है। प्रधानमंत्री ने पीएमएफबीवाई में किसानों की मंशा के अनुरूप बदलाव कर इसे आकर्षक बनाया है।

श्री मोदी गांव-गरीब-किसान-दलित-महिला-नौजवान का उत्थान हो, इस सिद्धांत पर काम कर रहे हैं इसी का परिणाम है कि वर्ष 2019 के आम चुनाव के बाद हाल ही में हुए विधानसभा चुनावों में भी जनता ने मोदी जी के नेतृत्व को और ताकत प्रदान की है। हमारे किसान स्वाभिमानी, परिश्रमी व ईमानदार है, इसलिए प्रधानमंत्री चाहते हैं कि किसानों की निर्भरता किसी पर नहीं होना चाहिए।

इस दृष्टि से खेती में टेक्नालाजी का उपयोग बढाने, किसानों को महंगी फसलों की ओर ले जाने, उन्हें वाजिब दाम दिलाने, प्रोसेसिंग-पैकेजिंग स्वयं कर अच्छी कमाई के लिए अनेक कार्यक्रम प्रांरभ किए गए हैं।

श्री तोमर ने कहा कि पहले कभी कौन सोच सकता था कि ड्रोन से पेस्टीसाइड का स्प्रे संभव हो सकेगा लेकिन सरकार की मंशा अब गांव-गांव इस टेक्नालाजी का उपयोग करने की है।

देश में 6,865 करोड़ रु. खर्च कर 10 हजार एफपीओ बनाने की योजना प्रारंभ की गई है, ताकि छोटे किसान जुड़े व उन्हें आदान, टेक्नालाजी, अच्छी गुणवत्ता का लाभ मिल सकें, जिससे देश-विदेश में उन्हें उचित दाम मिलें। बाड़मेर जिले के भी हर ब्लाक में एफपीओ बनाने का काम लगभग पूर्णता की ओर है, अन्य किसानों को भी इस दिशा में प्रवृत्त होना चाहिए।

उन्होंने राज्य मंत्री श्री चौधरी के आग्रह पर बाड़मेर में बाजरा अऩुसंधान संस्थान खोलने के लिए आश्वस्त करते हुए कहा कि क्षेत्र के किसानों को उनका हक दिलाने व कृषि संबंधी विकास के लिए केंद्र सरकार की ओर से कोई कमी नहीं आने दी जाएगी। उन्होंने किसानों से फसल बीमा योजना का कवरेज बढ़ाने में मदद का अनुरोध किया।

कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री शेखावत, श्री बालियान व श्री चौधरी ने भी संबोधित करते हुए, केंद्र सरकार द्वारा कृषि एवं सम्बद्ध क्षेत्रों तथा किसानों के विकास के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में किए जा रहे उपायों की विस्तार से जानकारी दी। पीएमएफबीवाई के सीईओ व केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव श्री रितेश चौहान ने भी संबोधित किया। केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री ने प्रतीक स्वरूप बाड़मेर जिले के 15 किसानों को फसल बीमा पालिसी का वितरण किया एवं 10 प्रगतिशील किसानों को कृषि क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए प्रमाण-पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया।

प्रारंभ में, श्री तोमर सहित अन्य अतिथियों ने केंद्रीय शुष्क क्षेत्र अनुसन्धान संस्थान (काज़री) की ओर से लगाई गई प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया, जिसमें किसानों को कृषि व पशुपालन क्षेत्र की नवीनतम तकनीकों के बारे में जानकारी दी जा रही है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान, हजारों किसानों को कृषि मेला के माध्यम से कृषि में ड्रोन की उपयोगिता से अवगत कराया गया।

 कार्यक्रम में क्षेत्रीय जनप्रतिनिधि श्री राजेंद्र गेहलोत, श्री प्रताप पुरी महाराज, श्री परशुराम गिरी महाराज, श्री नारायण सिंह देवला, श्री अभय राज महाराज, श्री प्रताप सिंह, श्री सांग सिंह, श्री छोटू सिंह सहित अनेक गणमान्यजन, नेता-कार्यकर्ता मौजूद थे।

During the well-known Tilwara animal fair in Barmer district of Rajasthan, the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, in the grand Kisan Samagam today, under the 'Meri Policy, Mere Hath' campaign of the Government of India's ambitious Prime Minister's Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) crops. Along with thousands of farmers, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balian, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Kailash Chaudhary, and other public representatives attended the programme. Here Mr. Tomar said that the government is connecting them with technology under the guidance of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for faster progress of farmers.

Due to the vision of the PM, the survey of damage to crops will also be done by drones for claims to the insured farmers.

The nationwide campaign 'Meri Policy Mere Haath' was launched on 26 February from Indore (Madhya Pradesh). It is a great achievement that this campaign has successfully reached 50 lakh farmers with their crop insurance policy in a short span of time, which will be continued in the coming days as well.

In the program, Mr Tomar said that in PMFBY, a claim of Rs 1.15 lakh crore has been given to the farmers. In Mahabhiyan, the policy is being delivered to the farmers. The Prime Minister has made it attractive by making changes in PMFBY according to the intention of the farmers.

Our farmers are self-respecting, hardworking and honest, so the Prime Minister wants that the dependence of farmers should not be on anyone.

With this view, many programs have been started to increase the use of technology in agriculture, to take farmers towards costly crops, to get them reasonable prices, to earn good money by doing processing-packaging themselves.

Shri Tomar said that who could have ever imagined that spraying of pesticides would be possible with drones, but now the intention of the government is to use this technology from village to village.

A scheme has been started to make 10 thousand FPOs by spending, so that small farmers can join and get the benefits of inputs, technology, good quality, so that they get fair prices in the country and abroad. The work of making FPOs in every block of Barmer district is almost near completion, other farmers should also be inclined in this direction.

On the request of Minister of State Mr. Choudhary, he assured to open Bajra Research Institute in Barmer and said that no shortfall would be allowed from the Central Government for the farmers of the area to get their due and for agricultural development. He requested the farmers to help in increasing the coverage of the crop insurance scheme.

Addressing in the program, Union Ministers Shri Shekhawat, Shri Balian and Shri Chaudhary also gave detailed information about the measures being taken by the Central Government for the development of agriculture and allied sectors and farmers under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Mr. Ritesh Chouhan, CEO of PMFBY and Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare also addressed. The Union Agriculture Minister distributed crop insurance policy to 15 farmers of Barmer district as a symbol and honored 10 progressive farmers by giving them certificates for their contribution in the agriculture sector.

Initially, Mr. Tomar and other guests visited the exhibition organized by the Central Arid Zone Research Institute (KAZRI), in which farmers are being informed about the latest techniques of agriculture and animal husbandry. During the programme, thousands of farmers were made aware of the usefulness of drones in agriculture through Krishi Mela.

Many dignitaries, leaders and activists including regional public representatives, Shri Rajendra Gehlot, Shri Pratap Puri Maharaj, Shri Parshuram Giri Maharaj, Shri Narayan Singh Devla, Shri Abhay Raj Maharaj, Shri Pratap Singh, Shri Song Singh, Shri Chhotu Singh were present in the program.
