The Surface Duo 2 will be available in White and Black colors like its old model. It has two screens that open like a book. After opening both the displays, its display size becomes 8.3-inches. The refresh rate of the display is 90Hz. Both the screens have been given a curved design from the corner. Corning Glass has been used to give protection to the screen.

Snapdragon 888 processor will be available

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor has been given in this folding smartphone. It has been upgraded as compared to the old model. Snapdragon 855 processor was given in the first generation Surface Duo. The new chipset also supports 5G connectivity. Microsoft says it is also the thinnest 5G device available in the market.

3 cameras of 12 megapixels will be available

A single camera was given in the right screen of the original Surface Duo. This was also said to be the weakest point of this folding smartphone. The triple rear camera setup has been done in the updated Surface Duo 2. In this, one lens supports wide, second ultra wide and third telephoto camera system. These three lenses are of 12 megapixels. Wide and telephoto lenses all support optical image stabilization.

Gaming experience will be better

The weight of this upgraded model is 150 grams. This folding smartphone has been specially designed for gaming. According to the company, it has all the controllers for games including Asphalt Legends 9, Modern Combat 5 and Dungeon Hunter 5 on one screen, while the game can be viewed on the other screen. The company has not disclosed about the battery and price in the new Surface Duo 2.

Stage mode will improve gaming

All its display modes work like a regular laptop. It has a new touchpad with full keyboard. Stage Mode is designed to enhance the gaming, streaming and presentation experience on laptops. It'll cover the keyboard and is perfect for watching Netflix or playing games, touching the display, or using the new Surface Slim Pen 2 for digital inking.
