Messenger Rooms shortcut feature has now been removed in WhatsApp. According to the report of WABetaInfo, this popular feature will no longer be available on the app. A year ago, WhatsApp released a useful shortcut to create Messenger Rooms, which allows up to 50 participants to join a group video call on Facebook. Now the company is removing this option. Deleting it from the chat share sheet as well.

WhatsApp's parent company Facebook later brought this feature to Instagram. With this feature, Android users can create or join a room through WhatsApp itself.

The company can take action if the feature is not used, the
WhatsApp Messenger Rooms shortcut was first introduced in May 2020. According to the report, whenever WhatsApp brings a feature, it also keeps an eye on whether it is being used or not. If the features are not used by the users, then they are also removed.
