The Indian stock market today is at a record high. The BSE Sensex today opened at 61,817.32 with a jump of 512 points on Monday and now seems to be moving towards 62 thousand.
Around morning, the Sensex rose by 589 points to reach 61,894.33. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty (NSE Nifty) opened with a gain of 162 points at 18,500.10 and went up by 183 points to 18,521.10 around 9.30 am.

All sectoral indices are moving in the green. The metal index rose 3 percent, while power, gas, and PSU bank indices rose 1 percent each.

Tata Motors boom

Shares of Tata Motors rose by 5 percent to reach Rs 524 today. Titan, Tata Steel, Tata Motors Bank, Infosys, Maruti, SBI were the main gainers in the Sensex, while Bajaj Finance, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, HCL Tech were the main losers.

After the results, there was a stir in HDFC Bank

The quarterly results of Hdfc bank have been released last week. After this, ups and downs are being seen in it today. Growth in its retail loan segment has improved. In this, a restructuring of 1.2 percent was seen more than the estimate. The management expects the bank's retail loans to accelerate further.
