आईओएनएस समुद्री अभ्यास आईएमईएक्स 2022 |

हिंद महासागर नौसेना संगोष्ठी (आईओएनएस) की स्थापना 2007 में की गई थी। यह हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र के तटवर्ती देशों की नौसेनाओं के बीच सहयोग और सहभागिता का एक प्रमुख मंच है। इस फोरम ने हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में क्षेत्रीय समुद्री मुद्दों पर चर्चा का अवसर उपलब्ध कराया, मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंधों को बढ़ावा दिया और समुद्री सुरक्षा सहयोग में उल्लेखनीय सुधार किया है।

आईएमईएक्स-22 के तहत 26 से 27 मार्च 2022 तक गोवा के मोरमुगाओ बंदरगाह पर बंदरगाह चरण और इसके बाद 28 से 30 मार्च 2022 तक अरब सागर में समुद्री चरण आयोजित हुआ। इस अभ्यास में बांग्लादेश, फ्रांस, भारत और ईरान की नौसेनाओं के युद्धपोत, समुद्री टोही विमान और हेलिकॉप्टर शामिल हुए। आईओएनएस के 15 सदस्य नौसेनाओं, जिसमें ऑस्ट्रेलिया, बांग्लादेश, फ्रांस, भारत, इंडोनेशिया, मालदीव, मॉरीशस, मोजाम्बिक, ओमान, कतर, सिंगापुर, श्रीलंका, थाईलैंड, यूएई और यूके शामिल हैं, के 22 पर्यवेक्षकों ने भी अभ्यास में हिस्सा लिया। प्रतिभागियों ने आईओएनएस एचएडीआर दिशानिर्देशों को मान्यता दी और समुद्र से तट तक एचएडीआर प्रदान करने और समुद्र में संकट में फंसे जहाजों और क्राफ्ट्स को सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र विकसित किया। भारतीय और फ्रांसीसी नौसेनाओं के प्रमुखों ने आईएमईएक्स-22 के समुद्री चरण के दौरान अभ्यास देखा और बाद में सवाल-जवाब सत्र में भी भाग लिया।

इस अभ्यास को क्षेत्रीय नौसेनाओं के लिए क्षेत्र में प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय सामूहिक रूप से सहयोग और प्रतिक्रिया देने के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। इससे क्षेत्रीय सहयोग को और मजबूत करने का मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा।

IONS Maritime Exercise 2022 (IMEX 2022)
The first edition of Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Maritime Exercise 2022 (IMEX-2022) was held in Goa and Arabian Sea from 26 to 30 March 2022. The aim of the exercise is to strengthen standard operating procedures and enhance reciprocity in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations among the navies of the member countries. 15 of the 25 member countries of IONS participated in this exercise.

The Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) was established in 2007. It is a major forum for cooperation and collaboration between the navies of the littoral countries of the Indian Ocean region. The Forum has provided an opportunity to discuss regional maritime issues in the Indian Ocean region, foster friendly relations and significantly improve maritime security cooperation.

The port phase under IMEX-22 was conducted from 26 to 27 March 2022 at Mormugao Port in Goa followed by the sea phase in Arabian Sea from 28 to 30 March 2022. Warships, maritime reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters from the navies of Bangladesh, France, India and Iran participated in the exercise. 22 observers from 15 member navies of IONS, including Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE and UK also participated in the exercise. The participants recognized the IONS HADR guidelines and developed a response mechanism to provide sea-to-coast HADR and support to ships and craft in distress at sea. The Chiefs of Indian and French Navies witnessed the exercise during the sea phase of IMEX-22 and also participated in the subsequent question-and-answer session.

The exercise is seen as an important step for regional navies to collectively cooperate and respond to natural calamities in the region. This will pave the way for further strengthening of regional cooperation.
