In the T20 World Cup, India will start its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan. The eyes of the fans are fixed on this match to be held on October 24. While Virat Kohli will take over the command of the Indian team, the reins of the Pakistan team will be in the hands of Babar Azam. Team India is busy practicing vigorously for this great match so that no stone is left unturned. In the T20 World Cup, Team India's mentor MS Dhoni is also helping the players in the net practice.

The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) on Friday shared pictures of the team's practice session, in which Dhoni is doing throwdowns to the players. Also, Dhoni was seen helping throwdown specialists Raghavendra, Nuwan, and Dayanand.

Significantly, Dhoni recently won the IPL title for the fourth time to Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He then joined the Indian team in Dubai to help the players prepare for the T20 World Cup. In the captaincy of Dhoni, India won the title of T20 World Cup in 2007.

India is being said to be the biggest contender to win the T20 World Cup. The Indian team has shown its strength by winning two warm-up matches. While India beat England by seven wickets in the first warm-up match, they won the second match against Australia by eight wickets.

40-year-old Dhoni retired from international cricket on 15 August 2020. He scored 17266 runs in 350 ODIS, 98 T20 Internationals, and 90 Test matches for India. During this, he scored 108 half-centuries and 16 centuries. Under Dhoni's captaincy, Team India was successful in winning three ICC titles.
