राष्ट्रीय अभिलेखागार ने आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव किया |

अपनी जड़ों को मजबूत करने और भविष्य की नींव रखने के लिए अपने इतिहास  को पढ़ना और लिखना जरूरी : श्रीमती मीनाक्षी लेखी |

 संस्कृति मंत्रालय के अधीन राष्ट्रीय अभिलेखागार ने अभिलेखागार के 132वें स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के तत्वावधान में ‘इंस्ट्रूमेंट्स ऑफ एक्सेशन एंड मर्जर: द जर्नी ऑफ इंटीग्रेशन’ शीर्षक वाली एक अभिलेखीय प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया। संस्कृति एवं विदेश राज्यमंत्री मीनाक्षी लेखी ने आज इस प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया।  

इस अवसर पर, श्रीमती मीनाक्षी लेखी ने कहा कि इतिहास तो इतिहास है, इसकी सारी बातें पसंद नहीं आ सकती हैं या उनसे सहमत नहीं हुआ जा सकता है, लेकिन फिर भी अपनी जड़ों को मजबूत करने और भविष्य की नींव रखने के लिए अपने इतिहास को पढ़ना और लिखना जरूरी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह प्रदर्शनी हमारे इतिहास को प्रदर्शित करती है। भारत के निर्माण में सहायता करने वाले दस्तावेजों और  सभी राज्यों एवं रियासतों के दस्तावेजों को भी इस प्रदर्शनी में प्रदर्शित किया गया है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि आधुनिक भारत की नींव रखने वाले तथ्यों को चित्रित करना, पढ़ना या लिखना और समझना बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है।

‘इंस्ट्रूमेंट्स ऑफ एक्सेशन एंड मर्जर: द जर्नी ऑफ इंटीग्रेशन’ शीर्षक वाली यह प्रदर्शनी मूल दस्तावेजों पर आधारित है। यह मूल अभिलेखीय सार्वजनिक दस्तावेजों और कार्टोग्राफिक रिकॉर्ड की प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से अधिमिलन और विलय की कहानी को प्रदर्शित करने का एक प्रयास है, जिसमें सार्वजनिक रिकॉर्ड श्रृंखला, विशेष रूप से मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ स्टेट्स, से संबंधित सामग्रियां शामिल हैं। यह प्रदर्शनी एनएआई रिकॉर्ड्स, रिपॉजिटरी, पुस्तकालय संग्रह से प्राप्त उन बहुमूल्य जानकारियों को प्रदर्शित करती है जो अधिमिलन के पत्र  (इंस्ट्रूमेंट ऑफ एक्सेशन) पर हस्ताक्षर करके और छोटी रियासतों के विलय के पत्र (इंस्ट्रूमेंट ऑफ मर्जर) से संबंधित तौर-तरीकों के कार्यान्वयन के द्वारा एकीकरण और विलय की कहानी और इससे जुड़ी कार्रवाई को दर्शाती है। इस प्रदर्शनी में देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों के एकीकरण की प्रक्रिया से संबंधित चुनिंदा दस्तावेज भी प्रदर्शित किए गए हैं। इसके अलावा  पूर्वी क्षेत्र के कूचबिहार और त्रिपुरा के, पश्चिमी क्षेत्र के बजाना और कच्छ के, उत्तरी क्षेत्र के कश्मीर के, दक्षिणी क्षेत्र के मैसूर, त्रावणकोर एवं हैदराबाद के और मध्य क्षेत्र के भोपाल के दस्तावेज भी इस प्रदर्शनी में देखे जा सकते हैं। इस प्रदर्शनी के विषय पर प्रकाश डालने के लिए कई तस्वीरें, प्रेस की कतरनें, निजी कागजात और संबंधित नक्शे प्रदर्शित किए गए हैं।

यह प्रदर्शनी आम जनता के लिए 10 मई 2022 तक छुट्टी के दिनों को छोड़कर प्रत्येक दिन सुबह 10:00 बजे से शाम 5:00 बजे तक खुली रहेगी।

The National Archives organized an archival exhibition on the occasion of the 132nd Foundation Day of the Archives under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi

Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi inaugurated the exhibition titled 'Instruments of Accession and Merger: The Journey of Integration'.

To strengthen our roots and lay the foundation for the future, it is necessary to read and write our history : Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi.

The National Archives, under the Ministry of Culture, organized an archival exhibition titled "Instruments of Accession and Merger: The Journey of Integration" under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on the occasion of the 132nd Foundation Day of the Archives. Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi inaugurated the exhibition today.

On this occasion, Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi said that history is history, all its points may not be liked or agreed with, but still it is necessary to strengthen its roots and lay the foundation for the future. Reading and writing are essential. He said that this exhibition displays our history. Documents that helped in the creation of India and documents of all states and princely states have also been displayed in this exhibition. He further said that it is extremely important to depict, read or write and understand the facts that lay the foundation of modern India.

Titled "Instruments of Accession and Merger: The Journey of Integration", the exhibition is based on the original documents. It is an attempt to depict the story of the amalgamation and merger through the presentation of original archival public documents and cartographic records, including materials relating to the public records series, particularly the Ministry of States. This exhibition displays valuable information obtained from the NAI Records, Repository, Library Collection, which is useful for the implementation of modalities related to Instrument of Accession by signing the Instrument of Accession and the Instrument of Accession of small princely states. The story of amalgamation and merger by Selected documents related to the process of integration of different parts of the country have also been displayed in this exhibition. Apart from this, documents of Cooch Behar and Tripura in the eastern region, Bajana and Kutch in the western region, Kashmir in the northern region, Mysore, Travancore and Hyderabad in the southern region and Bhopal of the central region can also be seen in this exhibition. Several photographs, press clippings, personal papers and related maps have been displayed to shed light on the theme of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open to the general public from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on every day except holidays till May 10, 2022.
