Ratan Tata congratulated Tata Sons on winning the Air India bid and tweeted 'Welcome back, Air India!' With this, he joined the visionary businessman J.R.D., who started Air India in 1932. Also shared a photo and message of Tata with Air India.

In his message, Ratan Tata wrote that the return of Air India to the Tata Group is good news. It has to be accepted that rebuilding Air India will take a lot of effort. Also, this will give a solid opportunity to the Tata group to increase its reach in the aviation market.

Remembering JRD Tata, the father of Air India, he wrote that there was a time when Air India was the most prestigious airline in the world under his leadership. Tata has a chance to get this identity back to Air India. If we can do that then JRD Tata will be happy
