The Dubai Expo is going to start on October 1, where about 25 million visitors are going to reach 46,000 organizations around the world. There is going to be a gathering of veteran investors and businessmen from all over the world in Dubai. In this expo, pavilions of about 180 countries have been built. Indian pavilion has also been prepared. In which the tableau of India is seen. The Indian Pavilion will be inaugurated by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Industry and Commerce of India on October 1. This expo will run till 31 March 2022 in which big companies like Tata Group, Reliance, Adani, Vedanta, HSBC will be involved from India.

500 crores spent to prepare the Indian Pavilion
, this expo will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Center in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Chief Consulate of India in Dubai, Siddharth Kumar Bareilly, said that about Rs 500 crore was spent in preparing the Indian pavilion. Whose area is spread over 438 hectares? To give impetus to business, the Road and Transport Authority has completed 15 projects worth Rs 300 crore. This includes metro stations, procurement of 50 metro trains, construction of 138 lane-km of roads with 9 flyovers. 18 stations, 15,000 taxis have been deployed to connect the UAE cities to the site. 80% of the site will be in construction use and the focus will be on real estate, education, tourism, transportation and logistics infrastructure, and advanced technology.

Travelers traveling to the UAE grew by 207%, with
foreign tourists accounting for 70% of the total number of guests. According to GCAA data, the total number of passengers traveling to the UAE reached 2.5 million in August, up from 8.14 million in the same period of 2020. That is an increase of 207%. Hotel reservations in the UAE have seen significant growth ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai. Hotel booking website Wego has recorded over 5 lakh searches for flights and hotel reservations to Dubai during the event period.
Economy showing signs of strength
Before the start of the Expo, the economy here is showing signs of strength. 30 lakh people reached from January to July. Dubai ranked second in the world in terms of hotel reservations. Hotels and tourism establishments attracted 8.3 million guests in the first half of 2021, a 15% increase compared to the first half of 2020. During this period, guests spent about 35 million nights in hotels, representing an increase of 30%. The revenue growth in the hotel industry has been 31%.
