IPL 2022: After the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team has become busy in the bilateral series. At the same time, BCCI has now started preparing for the next IPL. According to reports, IPL 2022 can start from April 2. This IPL is going to be very special because this time a total of 10 teams will take part in it.

According to the report of Cricbuzz, the BCCI has not yet completely finalized the date but from April 2, the next IPL can start. The first match will be played in Chennai because Chennai Super Kings was the champion team of IPL 2021.

A total of 74 matches will be played in IPL 2022, 10 teams will participate. It is believed that this IPL will last for a total of 60 days i.e. two months. IPL 2022 final can be held in the first week of June.

There may be a clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the first match of IPL 2022. Both the teams are very big in terms of popularity, in such a situation it has happened many times that the first match of the tournament has been played between them.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah had already announced that next year's IPL will be held in India. This time the IPL was played in India at the beginning of 2021, but it was stopped after the corona case came in some teams. Then after some gap, it was done in UAE.

It is worth noting that a total of 10 teams will take part in this IPL, Lucknow and Ahmedabad new teams have joined. There is also a mega auction to be held before the 2022 IPL. Each team has got a total of four players to retain.
