भारत आज से क्लीन एनर्जी मिनिस्टेरियल (सीईएम) वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की बैठक की मेजबानी कर रहा है। इसका समापन 8 अप्रैल को होगा।
इस बैठक का आयोजन स्वच्छ ऊर्जा नीतियों में विभिन्न कार्य धाराओं के कार्यों की समीक्षा के लिए किया जा रहा है। बैठक के दौरान सितंबर 2022 में होने वाली आगामी क्लीन एनर्जी मिनिस्टेरियल बैठक के लिए एजेंडा भी तैयार किया जाएगा।
आज आयोजित उद्घाटन सत्र में केंद्रीय विद्युत मंत्रालय में अपर सचिव द्वारा स्वागत और केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय में सचिव द्वारा मुख्य वक्तव्य दिए जाने के साथ ही 'ट्रांजिशन एजेंडा' पर विचार-विमर्श किया गया। उसके बाद क्लीन पावर, ग्रीन स्टील और हाइड्रोजन जैसे विषयों पर चर्चा हुई।
भारत और ब्रिटेन सरकार ने ऊर्जा संक्रमण के भविष्य पर समग्र वार्ता का नेतृत्व किया। इंटरनेशनल एनर्जी एजेंसी, इंटरनेशनल रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी एजेंसी और यूएन हाई लेवल एक्शन चैंपियंस ने स्टेट ऑफ सेक्टोरल ट्रांजिशन (एसओएसटी) मसौदा रिपोर्ट के निष्कर्षों को प्रस्तुत किया। साथ ही उन्होंने चयनित कार्यप्रणाली और उनके कार्य के समग्र परिप्रेक्ष्य का सारांश प्रस्तुत किया।
दूसरा सत्र 'स्केलिंग-अप क्लीन एनर्जी इनोवेशन एंड एक्शन - इनवेस्टमेंट अपरचुनिटीज' यानी स्वच्छ ऊर्जा नवाचार को बढावा एवं निवेश के अवसर को समर्पित था।
इसकी शुरुआत सत्र के अध्यक्ष एवं नीति आयोग में अतिरिक्त सचिव के उद्घाटन संबोधन के साथ हुई। इस सत्र के मुख्य वक्ताओं में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सौर गठबंधन के महानिदेशक, विद्युत मंत्रालय में अपर सचिव एवं वित्तीय सलाहकार, वित्त मंत्रालय में सलाहकार, इन्वेस्ट इंडिया के प्रबंध निदेशक एवं सीईओ, आईआरईडीए के अध्यक्ष, पावर फाइनेंस कॉर्पोरेशन के चेयरमैन एवं प्रबंध निदेशक और अध्यक्ष और रूरल इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन कॉरपोरेशन के चेयरमैन एवं प्रबंध निदेशक शामिल थे।
चर्चा में एडीबी, केएफडब्ल्यू, डब्ल्यूबी, रिलायंस, अदाणी ग्रीन, डालमिया सीमेंट, टाटा क्लीनटेक, हीरो फ्यूचर और शेल एनर्जी जैसे उद्योग प्रतिनिधियों की प्रमुख बातें शामिल थीं। उसके बाद एक ओपन हाउस परिचर्चा आयोजित की गई। इस सत्र का उद्देश्य स्वच्छ ऊर्जा नवाचार एवं तैनाती के लिए निवेश संभावनाओं की पहचान करना था।
क्लीन एनर्जी मिनिस्टेरियल (सीईएम) 29 सदस्य देशों का एक उच्चस्तरीय वैश्विक मंच है। यह वैश्विक स्वच्छ ऊर्जा भविष्य में संक्रमण पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के साथ-साथ ज्ञान एवं सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं की साझेदारी के जरिये स्वच्छ ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकी को आगे बढ़ाने वाली नीतियों और कार्यक्रमों को बढ़ावा देता है। यह दुनिया की अग्रणी अर्थव्यवस्थाओं, अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगठनों और कंपनियों को साथ लाता है ताकि स्वच्छ ऊर्जा संक्रमण में तेजी लाने के मिशन को हासिल किया जा सके।

India is hosting the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) Senior Officials Meeting from today. It will end on April 8. This meeting is being organized to review the actions of various action streams in clean energy policies. During the meeting the agenda for the upcoming Clean Energy Ministerial meeting to be held in September 2022 will also be prepared.
In the inaugural session held today, the 'Transition Agenda' was discussed along with the welcome by the Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Power and the keynote speech by the Secretary in the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. After that topics like clean power, green steel and hydrogen were discussed.
The Government of India and the UK lead the Composite Dialogue on the Future of the Energy Transition. The International Energy Agency, the International Renewable Energy Agency and the UN High Level Action Champions presented the findings of the State of Sectoral Transition (SOST) draft report. He also presented a summary of the selected methodology and the overall perspective of their work.
The second session was dedicated to 'Scaling-up Clean Energy Innovation and Action - Investment Opportunities' i.e. promoting clean energy innovation and investment opportunity. It began with the inaugural address of the session's Chairman and Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog.
Key speakers for the session include Director General of International Solar Alliance, Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in Ministry of Power, Advisor in Ministry of Finance, Managing Director & CEO, Invest India, Chairman IREDA, Chairman & Managing Director and Chairman of Power Finance Corporation and Rural Chairman and Managing Director of Electrification Corporation.
The discussion included highlights from industry representatives like ADB, KfW, WB, Reliance, Adani Green, Dalmia Cement, Tata Cleantech, Hero Future and Shell Energy. This was followed by an open house discussion. The objective of the session was to identify investment possibilities for clean energy innovation and deployment.
