On the second day of the week i.e. Tuesday, after 7 consecutive days, there has been a break in the market's bullishness. During the trading, there was a great rally in the market. But this momentum was lost by the market in the last hour, with the Sensex falling 50 points i.e. 0.08% at 61,716, and Nifty down 58 points i.e. 0.32% to close at 18,418.

During trading, the Sensex touched the level of 62,245 and the level of 18,604. Earlier, the Sensex opened at 62,156 and the Nifty at 18,602.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 13 shares were bought and 17 shares were sold. In which Tech Mahindra's shares closed up 4.12%, L&T shares 3.26% and Bajaj Finserv shares rose 1.99%. On the other hand, the share of ITC fell by more than 6%.

Realty, FMCG, and metal stocks were under pressure. On the NSE, the realty index closed down 4.74%, FMCG index 3.19%, and metal index 2.46%. On the other hand, there was a rise in IT stocks. The IT index closed up 2.20%.
