The Supreme Court will hear the petition filed against the hate speech on November 22. The Supreme Court asked the petitioners to inform the government's lawyers about it. Actually, two petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding hate speech. The first petition has been filed by Saeeda Hameed. It has been said in the petition that hate speech in public places under the pre-announcement should be banned.

A second PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court urging it to direct the Central Government to take measures to stop the spread of hate speech and rumors.

The petition has also urged the Supreme Court to direct the Center to examine various international laws related to it and take strict and effective measures to check hate speech and rumors.

The petitioner has asked the Supreme Court to direct the implementation of the recommendations made by the Law Commission in this matter as well. This petition has been filed by BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay through lawyer Ashwani Dubey. In this, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice and Law Commission have been made respondents. Upadhyay has said in the petition that spreading hatred and hatred has a serious impact on the citizens.

Through this people and society can be pushed towards terrorism, genocide, caste hysteria. This creates a threat to the life and safety of the people. Hate speeches hinder social progress. If it is not controlled it can have a devastating effect on people's lives.

Lakhimpur Kheri Violence: Hearing postponed till November 15

The hearing in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case was postponed with the commencement of the Supreme Court. The matter is being heard by a bench of CJI NV Ramana, Justice Surya Kant, and Justice Hima Kohli. The counsel for the UP government said that we are moving forward on a plan.

We should be given time till Monday. The court has adjourned the hearing till November 15. In the last hearing, the Supreme Court had sought suggestions for monitoring the retired judge from UP.
