Action Taken Against Two Orchestra Bars in Mawal for Violation of Time Restrictions

In a recent crackdown on establishments flouting time restrictions, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shri Satya Sai Kartik of the Lonavala Subdivision has continued his series of legal actions against illegal activities and criminals. Upon assuming charge, Shri Kartik has been vigilant in enforcing the law, particularly concerning establishments in the Pune rural district, including hotels, restaurants, and other businesses, which are required to adhere to strict time limits set by the administration.

Acting on information received about certain establishments disregarding these time limits, Shri Kartik, along with his team, conducted a surprise raid on the night of August 10, 2024. The raid targeted two locations: 1) Deepa Bar and Restaurant in Kamshet, and 2) Flavours Bar and Restaurant in Vadgaon Maval.

During the raid, it was found that both establishments were operating beyond the prescribed hours, selling food, alcohol, and other items to customers. As a result, the owners of these bars were booked under the Maharashtra Police Act, Section 33(W) and 131, for violating the rules. The investigation is being carried out by the Kamshet and Vadgaon Maval police stations, respectively.

ASP Shri Satya Sai Kartik has issued a stern warning to all establishment owners to strictly adhere to the rules and time restrictions set by the administration. He emphasized that such violations will not be tolerated, and stringent legal action will continue to be taken against those who fail to comply.

The operation was conducted under the guidance of Pune Rural Police Superintendent Shri Pankaj Deshmukh and Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Ramesh Chopde, with ASP Shri Satya Sai Kartik leading the team.
