प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर नारी शक्ति का अभिनंदन किया है।
श्रृंखलाबद्ध ट्वीट में प्रधानममंत्री ने कहा हैः
“महिला दिवस पर, मैं नारी शक्ति और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उनकी उपलब्धियों का अभिनंदन करता हूं। भारत सरकार सम्मान और अवसरों पर बल देते हुये अपनी विभिन्न योजनाओं के माध्यम से महिला सशक्तिकरकण पर लगातार ध्यान देती रहेगी।”
“वित्तीय समावेश से लेकर सामाजिक सुरक्षा, बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधा से आवास, शिक्षा से लेकर उद्यमशीलता तक, भारत की विकास यात्रा में नारी शक्ति को अग्रिम मोर्चे पर रखने के लिये असंख्य प्रयास किये गये हैं। आने वाले समय में इन प्रयासों को और अधिक ऊर्जा के साथ जारी रखा जायेगा।”
“आज सायं छह बजे, मैं कच्छ में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करूंगा, जिसमें हमारे समाज की महिला संतों के योगदानों को रेखांकित किया गया है।
संस्कृति के विभिन्न पक्षों, केंद्र के विभिन्न कल्याणकारी उपायों और अन्य बहुत से बिंदुओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जायेगा।

“On Women's Day, I congratulate Nari Shakti and her achievements in various fields. The Government of India will continue to focus on women empowerment through its various schemes emphasizing on respect and opportunities.
“From financial inclusion to social security, from better healthcare to housing, from education to entrepreneurship, innumerable efforts have been made to keep women power at the forefront of India's development journey. These efforts will be continued with more energy in the times to come.”
“Today at 6 pm, I will address an event organized in Kutch, highlighting the contributions of women saints of our society.
The focus will be on various aspects of culture, various welfare measures of the center and many other points.
