IPL Title Sponsor: The Indian Premier League has got a new title sponsor. From the year 2022, the title sponsor will be in the hands of TATA Group. That is, now this tournament will now be known as 'TATA IPL. TATA has replaced the Chinese company Vivo.

IPL chairman Brijesh Patel has informed news agency PTI that from the year 2022, Tata will be the title sponsor of the IPL, which will replace the Chinese company Vivo.  

Let us tell you that a meeting of the IPL Governing Council has been held on Tuesday, in which many big decisions have been taken. Tata has been made the title sponsor of the IPL, besides a letter of intent, has been handed over to the CVC Group, which bought the Ahmedabad team.

VIVO had bought the IPL title sponsorship rights in the year 2018. For this, the company had to pay Rs 440 crore every year to the BCCI. This contract of Vivo was till the year 2022. When there was a protest in the country due to the dispute between India and China last year, Vivo had to take a break for a year.

The 2022 season of IPL is going to be special in many ways. Because this time there is a mega auction, as well as this will be Vivo's last year as a title sponsor. Not only this, but IPL will also get a new media sponsor soon because the rights of IPL with Star will also end by 2022.
