NEET 2021: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2021) result is coming soon. Students will be able to check the result on neet.nta.nic.in. The matter of NEET 2021 was in discussion this time from the Supreme Court to the Madras High Court. Not only this but the matter of NEET was also discussed in Tamil Nadu.

The matter had earlier gone to the Supreme Court, where the petition was dismissed seeking a report on the inquiry conducted for alleged malpractice in the NEET UG examination held on September 12, 2021. On the other hand, this matter was also raised in the Madras High Court regarding Tamil Nadu NEET. In this, the Madras HC had sought a response from the state government in response to a PIL seeking compensation for the 'false promises' made by the government on NEET.

This year, the matter of alleged malpractice in NEET 2021 was in court for a long time. A petition was filed seeking a report on the inquiry conducted for alleged malpractices in the NEET UG exam. The bench was headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao and observed that the court cannot interfere in the matter at this stage.

The bench was of the view that any interference by him would now only create confusion and prove harmful to a large number of students. In the end, the senior advocate withdrew the petition and the matter was dismissed as withdrawn.

At the same time, the MK Stalin government of Tamil Nadu has also passed a bill in the assembly, according to which students of Tamil Nadu will no longer take part in NEET and they will get admission in medical colleges of the state according to the marks obtained in class 12. This decision of MK Stalin has been supported by all the parties of the state except BJP. But the Stalin government's decision sparked a nationwide debate as to whether it was appropriate for a state to talk of dropping itself out of a central examination in this manner.
