According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Kushinagar International Airport at 10 am on Wednesday, October 20. According to the schedule, after inaugurating the international airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Mahaparinirvana temple. PM Modi will also participate in various programs organized at the Mahaparinirvana Temple.

After this, the Prime Minister will present various projects to the Kushinagar district at one o'clock in the afternoon. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of various development projects for the Kushinagar district. Significantly, the area of Kushinagar comes under the Buddhist circuit. This circuit covers the area from Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha to Bodh Gaya in Bihar. Apart from Kushinagar, Sarnath also comes in this circuit.

There are three major Buddhist sites in Kushinagar. The place of Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha is Parinirvana Temple and behind it is a stupa called Parinirvana Stupa. Ramadhan Stupa and Mathakunvar Temple is also the center of the Buddhist faith. Apart from these, there are also places like Wat Thai Temple, Chinese Temple, Buddha Temple, Japanese Temple, Buddha Temple in Kushinagar that can become the center of attraction for international tourists.

The district will get importance in the Buddhist circuit due to the opening of the International Airport at Kushinagar. This will help the followers of Buddhism from abroad to come to Kushinagar. The access of common people to important places of Buddhism will increase.
