The ICC has announced the team of umpires for the T20 World Cup. Out of the total 16 umpires, only one Indian umpire has got the place.

Now only a few days are left for the start of the T20 World Cup, immediately after the IPL, all the teams will jump into this great war. 
Before the start of the World Cup, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is also busy in preparations, and on Thursday, the list of all the umpires participating in the World Cup was released. 

Only one Indian umpire's name is included in this list. Only Nitin Menon is the only Indian umpire who will officiate during this T20 World Cup. Let us tell you that Nitin Menon has become a big name in the world of umpiring in recent times, during the India-England Test series, he took many great decisions. On social media too, cricket fans had praised Nitin Menon a lot.  

ICC has announced the names of 16 umpires and 4 match referees for the T20 World Cup. They will all monitor the matches during the Round 1 and Super 12 stage matches of the World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup is to be played in UAE-Oman from 17 October to 14 November. Four match referees
 

for the World Cup: David Boon, Jeff Crowley, Ranjan Madugalle, Javagal Srinath Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena, Michael Gough, Aleem Dar, Nitin Menon, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Marais Erasmus, Chris Gaffney, Adrian Holdstock, Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, Langton Russert, Rod Tucker, Joel, and Paul Wills. Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffney will umpire the first match of the World Cup. Ranjan Madugalle will be the referee in the first match.
