CCTV Footage Reveals Suspect with Trolley Bag Containing Body at Dadar Station
On August 4, at around 11:46 PM, CCTV cameras captured Chavda arriving at platform number 11 with the suspiciously heavy trolley bag. Struggling to move the bag due to its weight, Chavda’s anxious expressions were clearly visible. In another part of the footage, he can be seen waiting on the platform, repeatedly pacing around the bag, appearing tense and uneasy. As a train approached, Chavda quickly tried to board it with the bag.

CCTV Footage Reveals Suspect with Trolley Bag Containing Body at Dadar Station
Mumbai, August 7 (IANS): CCTV footage has surfaced showing a man, now identified as Jai Chavda, transporting a body in a trolley bag at Mumbai's Dadar Railway Station. The footage clearly captures Chavda dragging the heavy bag, his nervous and hurried demeanor evident.
On August 4, at around 11:46 PM, CCTV cameras captured Chavda arriving at platform number 11 with the suspiciously heavy trolley bag. Struggling to move the bag due to its weight, Chavda’s anxious expressions were clearly visible. In another part of the footage, he can be seen waiting on the platform, repeatedly pacing around the bag, appearing tense and uneasy. As a train approached, Chavda quickly tried to board it with the bag.
The suspicious activity caught the attention of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel patrolling the station. Upon stopping and inspecting the bag, they were shocked to find a blood-soaked body inside. The victim was identified as Arshad Ali.
Chavda was arrested on the spot. During the investigation, another suspect, Shivjeet Singh, was implicated in assisting Chavda with Ali’s murder. Singh was apprehended from Ulhasnagar. Both suspects are now in custody as the investigation continues.
