 श्रम ब्यूरो, श्रम एवं रोज़गार मंत्रालय से संबंधित कार्यालय द्वारा हर महीने औद्योगिक श्रमिकों के लिए उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक का संकलन सम्पूर्ण देश में फैले हुए 88 महत्वपूर्ण औद्योगिक केंद्रों के 317 बाजारों से एकत्रित खुदरा मूल्यों के आधार पर किया जाता है। सूचकांक का संकलन 88 औद्योगिक केंद्रों एवं अखिल भारत के लिए किया जाता है और आगामी महीने के अंतिम कार्यदिवस पर जारी किया जाता है। फरवरी, 2022 के लिए सूचकांक इस प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के माध्यम से जारी किया जा रहा है ।

   फरवरी, 2022 का अखिल भारत उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (औद्योगिक श्रमिक) 0.1 अंक घटकर 125.0 (एक सौ पच्चीस ) अंकों के स्तर पर संकलित हुआ। सूचकांक में पिछले माह की तुलना में 0.08 प्रतिशत की कमी रही जबकि एक वर्ष पूर्व इन्हीं दो महीनों के बीच 0.68 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई थी ।

सूचकांक में दर्ज कमी में अधिकतम योगदान खाद्य एवं पेय समूह का रहा जिसने कुल बदलाव को 0.30 बिन्दु प्रतिशतता से प्रभावित किया। मदों में चावल, बीटरूट, बंदगोभी, गाजर, ड्रम्स्टिक, फ्रेंच बीन, भिंडी, प्याज, आलू और टमाटर इत्यादि सूचकांक को घटाने में जिम्मेवार रहे। इसके विपरित मुख्यतः गोट मीट/मटन, पोल्ट्री चिकन, सेब, हरी मिर्च, परवल, मिट्टी का तेल, डॉक्टर/सर्जन फीस, एलोपेथिक दवाईयां, बस किराया एवं ट्यूशन/कोचिंग फीस इत्यादि ने सूचकांक में दर्ज कमी को नियंत्रित करने का प्रयास किया ।

केंद्र-स्तर पर सेलम के सूचकांक में अधिकतम 4.7 अंक की कमी रही जिसके पश्चात तिरुनेल्वेलि में 3.7 अंक की कमी दर्ज की गई। अन्य 5 केंद्रों में 2 से 2.9 अंक, 4 केंद्रों में 1 से 1.9 तथा 28 केंद्रों में 0.1 से 0.9 अंक के बीच कमी रही। इसके विपरीत थाने में अधिकतम 2.9 अंक की वृद्धि दर्ज की गयी जिसके पश्चात भीलवाड़ा में 2.1 अंक की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई। अन्य 9 केंद्रों में 1 से 1.9 तथा 35 केंद्रों में 0.1 से 0.9 अंक के बीच वृद्धि रही । शेष 3 केंद्रों के सूचकांक स्थिर रहे।

फरवरी, 2022 के लिए मुद्रास्फीति दर पिछले महीने के 5.84 प्रतिशत तथा गत वर्ष के इसी माह के 4.48 प्रतिशत की तुलना में 5.04 प्रतिशत रहा। खाद्य-स्फीति दर पिछले माह के 6.22 प्रतिशत एवं एक वर्ष पूर्व इसी माह के 4.64 प्रतिशत की तुलना में 5.09 प्रतिशत रहा ।

Consumer Price Index of Industrial Workers (2016=100) – February, 2022.

 The Consumer Price Index for industrial workers is compiled every month by the Labor Bureau, an office of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, on the basis of retail prices collected from 317 markets of 88 important industrial centers spread across the country. The index is compiled for 88 industrial centers and pan India and released on the last working day of the following month. The index for February 2022 is being released through this press release.

 The All India Consumer Price Index (Industrial Labour) for February 2022 compiled at a level of 125.0 (One Hundred and Twenty Five) declined by 0.1 points. The index declined by 0.08 percent as compared to the previous month, as compared to a growth of 0.68 percent a year ago between the same two months.

The food and beverage group contributed the most to the decrease in the index, which influenced the overall change by 0.30 point percentage. Among items, rice, beetroot, cabbage, carrot, drumstick, french bean, okra, onion, potato and tomato, etc., contributed to the decline in the index. In contrast, mainly beef/mutton, poultry, chicken, apple, green chilli, parwal, kerosene, doctor/surgeon fees, allopathic medicines, bus fare and tuition/coaching fees etc. tried to control the shortfall recorded in the index.

At the centre-level, the index declined by maximum 4.7 points, followed by Tirunelveli with a decline of 3.7 points. The decrease was between 2 to 2.9 points in other 5 centres, 1 to 1.9 in 4 centres, and 0.1 to 0.9 points in 28 centres. In contrast, a maximum increase of 2.9 points was registered in the police station, after which an increase of 2.1 points was registered in Bhilwara. There was an increase of 1 to 1.9 in the other 9 centers and 0.1 to 0.9 points in 35 centres. The indices of the remaining 3 centers remained stable.

Inflation rate for February, 2022 stood at 5.04 per cent as compared to 5.84 per cent in the previous month and 4.48 per cent in the corresponding month of last year. The food inflation rate stood at 5.09 percent as compared to 6.22 percent last month and 4.64 percent a year ago.
